Limewash were appointed to produce new prospectuses for both the school and sixth form centre. We approached the project by first identifying the audience considerations, before creating content and concepts to address these considerations. Traditional school prospectuses tend to contain lots of course information and detail - content that we felt, in Netherhall's case, would be best placed elsewhere. We challenged the effectiveness of this conventional format and focused more on conveying the experience of life at Netherhall for the students - which has been identified as a really important factor for both students and parents alike.
Working in close collaboration with the Netherhall's senior management team, we gained insights into the unique personality and ethos of the school. Our solution was to create more of a brochure like feel. We created a bold contemporary style, together with a photographic essay capturing the vibrant, dynamic, and diverse nature of the school and sixth form.
Strong messages added to the visual tone of voice, conveying a confident and progressive school.
In addition to the two brochures, we also created a folder as a smart way of keeping both the brochures and selected course information together in one place for distribution at open evenings and school events. By separating out the course information, which changes frequently, we have ensured a longer shelf life for the brochure and significant savings in print and reprint costs.
A new bold use of colour and contemporary style reflecting vibrance and diversity.
