A true collaboration

Chesterford Research Park is one of the leading science parks in the South Cambridge Biotechnology Cluster. We have collaborated with the Park's executive team - joint owners (Aviva Investors and Uttlesford District Council), the developer (Churchmanor Estates), onsite Park Management team and its commercial agents (Savills/Cheffins) - acting as its virtual marketing department for over 12 of years, helping to define the strategic marketing plan and deliver the tactical elements required to achieve results. It is a true collaboration between all parties to ensure the Park’s goals of attracting, growing and retaining the right mix of business, building a community and increasing income are met and exceeded. Chesterford Research Park was one of our very first clients and to this day we are continually grateful for the trust, loyalty, fun and learning we have all shared.

A confident position

Over a number of years we have positioned Chesterford as a growing exemplar life science location within the cluster, confidently building on the existing brand equity to further raise awareness of the outstanding location and superb on site offering; in addition to seeking to emphasise and promote the calibre of occupier on site (life science focused), champion their successes and where possible collaborate with them to co-promote their science alongside the benefits of being located at Chesterford. In addition, we also ensure Chesterford’s additional stand out elements around amenity (in reference to employee attraction and retention) and the experience and dedication of the on-site Park Team are all brought to the fore.

A growing influence

Over 12 years ago, our remit was purely PR - helping to communicate newsworthy content out to a local, regional and industry specific audience, whilst other suppliers were responsible for design, website, print collaterals etc. However, we have always advocated a joined-up approach that is grounded in the realities of the audiences you want to reach and a solid marketing strategy that address their needs and considerations. Having proven our capabilities in the early days of our collaboration and earned the trust of the Park team while Limewash was still in its infancy, we slowly established our strategic-led approach at the Park too. Today, our activity extends to the management and evolution of the Park brand, creation of all collateral (physical, digital (website), social assets, on Park wayfinding and occupier signage, in building artwork, photography, film (inc. drone) etc) and the management of all external communication, PR and media liaison.
